Amazon added Echo Show 8 to their Echo devices portfolio, which is priced at Rs 12,999. Most of the Echo devices are for audio-focused but the Echo Show series comes with display option. Right now the product is available for pre-order at Rs. 8,999 (launch price) on Amazon and will start shipping from 26th of February. Two colour variants will be available – Black and White and it will come with in-built Alexa voice assistant.
It features an 8-inch HD display equipped with 2-inch neodymium speakers with passive bass radiator. It weighs about weighs 1037 grams and measures 200mm x 135mm x 99mm. Users can perform video calls through Skype or Alexa, thanks to the 1MP front camera for that. The Echo Show 8 was launched globally in September last year with some more Echo devices like Echo Buds and Echo Frames.
