Yesterday Mr Sudeep Sahu, the company’s product support executive in India announced this via Twitter. Till now Mi didn’t sell TV remotes individually. Both the Mi Remotes are now available on mi.com – Mi IR Remote at Rs. 199 and Mi Bluetooth Voice Remote at Rs. 499. This will also stop people to use fake Mi Remotes that are available in the market.
The IR remote works like a normal television remote, sending an infra-red signal to the TV. The Bluetooth remote works using the more modern and capable Bluetooth signal and it also comes with in-built voice commands for Google Assistant on a paired TV.
