BSNL has launched two new broadband plans which comes with 20mbps speed at an affordable rate. The two plans are priced at Rs 299 and Rs. 491 that offers some extra benefits also. These plans are introduced only for promotional purposes and will be available upto 25th/28th March 2020 (varies from circle to circle). Also in some circles, we can’t find these plans, so it is clear that it is also not available in all circles.
The new plans are available on the official website of BSNL. The company will charge users a refundable deposit of Rs. 500 and these plans are only valid for new subscribers of BSNL broadband or landline users, who also want to add a broadband plan. The plans are mentioned in detail below:
₹299 plan (50GB_CUL)
As the name suggests the plan comes with fair usage policy and users can use the internet with a speed of 20mbps upto 50GB but after that, the speed will be throttled to 1mbps for unlimited usage. Also, unlimited local and STD calling benefit are added to this plan. STD calls will be charged at ₹1.2 per unit. After 6 months, users will be auto shifted to 2GB_CUL plan that offers 2GB usage at 8mbps for Rs.399 per month.
₹491 plan (120GB_CUL)
This plan comes with fair usage policy and users can use the internet with a speed of 20mbps upto 120GB but after that, the speed will be throttled to 1mbps for unlimited usage. Also, unlimited local and STD calling benefit are added to this plan. STD calls will be charged at ₹1.2 per unit. Though this plan is for promotional purpose users will be auto shifted to 3GB_CUL plan that offers 3GB usage at 8mbps for Rs.499 per month after 6 months.
