Samsung launched its Galaxy Z Flip smartphone on 11th February at the company’s Galaxy S20 flagship series launch event in San Francisco. The device will be powered by octa-core Snapdragon 855 Plus processor and a 3,300mAh battery. The smartphone is packed with 8GB of RAM and it runs on Android 10. Three colour variants will be available – Mirror Black, Mirror Purple, Mirror Gold.
The main foldable display features a 6.7-inch Full HD with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2636 pixels, an aspect ratio of 21.9:9 and a pixel density of 425ppi. The outer display features a 1.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 112 x 300 pixels and a pixel density of 303ppi. It comes with an internal storage of 256GB which cannot be expanded with a microSD card.
On the rear side, it has 12MP wide-angle camera (f/1.8, 1.4-micron pixels, 78-degree FoV) and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2, 1.12-micron pixels, 123-degree FoV, OIS). In the front side, there is a 10MP camera (f/2.4, 1.22-micron pixels, 80-degree FoV) for great selfies. The Galaxy Z Flip has been priced at $1,380 (approx Rs. 98,500) that will go on sale from 14th February.
