At a launch event held in China on 10th December, Redmi launched its first-ever 5G smartphone named “Redmi K30 5G“. The device will be powered by the newly launched octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC processor and a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. Redmi K30 5G will be available in four colour variants – Deep-Sea Light, Time Monologue, Flower Shadow, Purple Jade Fantasy
It features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ hole-punch display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio, 91% screen-to-body ratio. Three types of storage variants will be available – 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and two RAM variants – 6GB, 8GB. The storage section can be increased upto 256GB by using an external microSD card.

On the rear side of the smartphone, there is a quad-camera setup that includes 64MP camera with Sony IMX686 sensor, f/1.89 aperture, 1/1.7-inch sensor and 6P lens, a 5MP macro lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP 120º wide-angle sensor. And for selfies, there is a dual-camera setup that includes a 20MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor which can capture great photos.
