It comes with its own XiaoAI voice assistant to perform many tasks using voice commands and control smart devices through it. The display of the speaker has a 50.8mm 10W driver that is coupled with three subwoofers.

 

XiaoAI Touchscreen Speaker Pro 8 features an 8-inch display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The speaker comes with Bluetooth v5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, also it is compatible with devices running at least Android 4.4 or iOS 9.0. Video calls can be done using the front camera or use it as a digital photo frame, set reminders and alarms, etc.

The device carries a price tag of CNY 499 (approx Rs. 5,100) and is now listed on Xiaomi YouPin. From 18th December it will go on open sale on sites like Xiaomi YouPin, Mi.com, JD.com. The company has not announced the availability of the speaker in any other market including India, so we will update it when we receive such news.
