Xiaomi Launched Mi Smart LED Desk Lamp 1S in India

Xiaomi has launched Mi Smart LED Desk Lamp 1S in India. It is priced at Rs. 1,999 ~~(Rs. 2,999)~~ and is available for purchase on Xiaomi’s crowdfunding platform. The lamp can be remotely controlled via the Mi Home app, also can be controlled via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit. The company has set only 1000 units of lamps as a goal before manufacturing it.

Mi Smart LED Desk Lamp 1S has a thin foldable structure that can be open and shut in a 135-degree angle in an inverted manner. There is one knob on the base of the lamp that can do various actions like clicking the knob will turn on/off the lamp, by pressing and rotating the knob will adjust the colour temperature, turning the knob will increase or decrease the lamp brightness, double-clicking the knob will quickly turn on the focus mode.

The brightness (2600-5000K) of the smart lamp can be controlled, also it will be available in one single white colour variant. Body of the lamp is metallic and will help better heat dissipation, and distributes even luminance. There are several modes available for different conditions that includes – Reading Mode, Computer Mode, Child Mode and Focus Mode.

Xiaomi Launches Mi Reader With 6-Inch HD E-Ink Display

Yesterday Xiaomi launches Mi Reader in China to compete with the most popular E-book reader ‘Amazon Kindle’. This reader comes with 6-inch HD E-Ink display with a pixel density of 212ppi, a built-in LED reading light with 24 brightness settings and it weighs only 178 grams, that’s too lightweight. It will run on a custom skin based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

The device will be powered by quad-core Allwinner B300 processor running at 1.8GHz and a 1,800mAh battery that comes with USB Type-C port. The Mi Reader is packed with 16GB internal storage and a 1GB of RAM. This reader supports multiple file formats such as TXT, EPUD, PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT and the whole suite of compatible WPS and MS Office content.

5,000 e-books can be stored in this Mi Reader. Users can download e-books/documents from the cloud itself to read that instantly anywhere anytime. It comes with a price tag of CNY 579 (approx $83 or Rs 5,900) that will be offered on the crowdfunding platform that will start from 20th November, after that price will be hiked to CNY 599 (approx $85 or Rs. 6,100).

There is no word that when it will be available in the Global market and what will be its price in the global market. We will update that if we get any further information on this.

Xiaomi India Started Crowdfunding for Mi Smart Bedside Lamp 2

Xiaomi India has started crowdfunding for a smart home gadget named Mi Smart Bedside Lamp 2. It comes with a price tag of ₹2,299 and they have set a goal to sell 1000 units. The Bedside lamp works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Homekit, so ofcourse it can be controlled with voice.

The lamp can also be added to the Mi Home App for controlling it from your phone directly. Xiaomi will start shipping the products from 3rd December. Colour temperature ranges between 1700K and 6500K. The 12W Mi Smart Bedside Lamp 2 can produce 16 million colours and has a peak brightness of 400 lumens.

The company claims that the smart light will offer longevity of 11 years. Only 7 days left for the crowdfunding to end and if you want to support the crowdfunding the just visit here. Maybe in future, it will be available on open sale.
