Oppo launched its first smartwatch in China that comes with eSIM support and 5ATM water resistance rating. It is very identical to Apple Watch and it is totally based on a custom version of ColorOS and Google’s Wear OS. The product will go on sale from 24th March in China, the company will announce the availability of the smartwatch in the other markets soon.
The 41mm variant features a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 320 x 360 pixels and the 46mm variant comes with a 1.91-inch display with a screen resolution of 402 x 476 pixels and 326ppi pixel density. Currently, they are compatible with Android phones only, but the company is working hard to support iOS devices.
Both the smartwatches are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2500 SoC processor and 41mm model is backed up by 300mAh and 46mm model is backed up by 430mAh. Also, they are bundled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. It also supports VOOC Flash Charge technology that can fully charge in just 75 minutes.
Some sensors includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, barometric pressure sensor, compass, optical heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor, and a capacitance sensor.
