Huawei Mate Xs is the second foldable phone by the company after Huawei Mate X, which didn’t make its way out of China. The device will be powered by HiSilicon Kirin 990 processor and a 4,500mAh battery with 55W fast-charging support. The smartphone has the company’s own Balong 5000 modem for 5G connectivity, which can offer download speeds up to 2.3Gbps. It will run on Android 10-based EMUI 10.
It features an 8-inch OLED display with a screen resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels. On the rear side, it has a quad-camera that includes a primary 40MP (f/1.8) SuperSensing RYYB sensor, an 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, 30x digital zoom, OIS+AIS support and a 16MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle camera and a 3D TOF sensor. Mate Xs wiill be packed with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
The smartphone is priced at 2499 euros (approx Rs. 1.95 lakhs or $2700). The company didn’t mention the availability of the smartphone right now but we will try to update it soon if we get a further report on it. Let us know your views about this phone in the comment section below.
