Google Search Now Allows Users to Recharge Prepaid Packs on Mobile in India

Google will now let users recharge their prepaid mobile phones right from the Google search page. Users need to type the search query like “sim recharge”, “prepaid mobile recharge”, “recharge” to get the feature. The tech giant will let you complete the recharge process through providers like FreeCharge, MobiKwik, Google Pay, and Paytm. This feature will also compare plans and show you valid offers from different platforms.

Operators like Reliance Jio, Vodafone-Idea, Airtel, and BSNL are already there. The search result will show a mobile recharge section where users can enter their mobile number, select operator and circle, then click on browse plans to check all the plans available out there. Also, it is expected that Google will add more payment gateways and more operators.

After completion of the transaction, it will show you the options of connecting to the customer care and “back to google” which will redirect you to the Google search page. As of now, we couldn’t find this feature on our mobile. Hopefully, they will roll out this feature to more users soon. Let us know your views about this new feature in the comment section below.
