On 14 October Fitbit finally launched its smart wearable named “Fitbit Versa 2”. The smartwatch was made available globally in the previous month but now it has made its way to India. It comes with built-in Amazon Alexa support to control smart devices and to work with voice commands.
The smartwatch comes with an AMOLED touchscreen display and it is water-resistant up to 50 meters. Fitbit Versa 2 is compatible with any iPhones (4S and later) and Android devices (5.0 Lollipop and later). It can provide upto 5 days battery backup, also it has several sensors and more than 15 different exercise modes. The built-in storage is enough to store 300 songs in the smartwatch.
Besides the launch of Fitbit Versa 2, the company announced a premium subscription service named “Fitbit Premium” that will help users to maintain their daily activities and health. Users can achieve their fitness goals with this and it will be available via the Fitbit App. The subscription will cost you around ₹821 per month or ₹6,999 per year.
The Fitbit Versa 2 comes with a price tag of ₹20,999 in India. It is available on Amazon India, as well as major offline retailers, including Reliance Digital, Croma, Helios, Landmark and more. They have also brought a special edition of Fitbit Versa 2 that comes with a price tag of ₹22,999. It is available in Navy and Pink with a Copper Rose aluminium case, as well as Smoke with a Mist Grey case.
The Fitbit Versa 2 will be available in Black with a Carbon case, Petal with a Copper Rose aluminium case, and Stone with a Mist Grey case. The company says that accessories for the smartwatch will be available ranging from Rs. 2,999 to Rs. 3,499.
